Zombie Prom coming to Quincy

The teen dance and haunted house is set for Saturday, Oct. 27 at Emerson Community Center

The Quincy Park District and County Market are hosting a Zombie Prom & Haunted School for 11-15 year olds at Emerson Community Center, 1310 Washington.

The teen dance and haunted house is set for 7-10 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 27.

The Haunted School will be full of characters based on the level of gruesome zombies from those in movies and on television as they will have professional costume makeup completed by a local artist.

Tours through the Haunted School will be given throughout evening during the teen dance.

Costumes are encouraged and refreshments from County Market will be served in the Activity Center where the dance will take place. There will also be a Zombie Prom King and Queen contest for best costumes.

For those that would like to attend, but need help with their costumes, there will be a makeup booth setup to fine-tune the zombie looks for the evening.

Admission is $3. If parents would like to volunteer to chaperone the dance or become a zombie for the Haunted School, please email jcate@quincyparkdistrict.com or call Jessica at 223-7703 prior to the event.
