Woman with outstanding warrant lodged in Adams Co Jail

Quincy woman stopped for expired registration but taken into custody for an outstanding warrant

Early Sunday morning, 40 year old Jennifer Sass of 304 S. 10th was stopped for having an expired registration sticker on her vehicle.

Sass was then found to have an outstanding warrant and was taken into custody.

During a search of Sass incident to arrest, controlled substances were found in her purse, and a stolen credit card was found in her pocket.

Sass was arrested for unlawful possession of a controlled substance and unlawful use of a credit card.

Sass was lodged in the Adams County Jail and is due to appear in court on 09-24-12.
