Friday Night Play Nights to challenge kids to be healthy

Free event will be held the third Friday of each Month

The Adams County Health Department working in collaboration with the United Way of Adams County, the Adams County Medical Reserve Corps, HyVee and the 5-2-1-0 Get Up and Move! initiative will be holding  Friday Night Play Nights to challenge Adams County children and their families to be active and promote healthy eating habits. These Play Nights will be held the third Friday of each month at various locations throughout the community. These free events will feature fun activities to encourage families to be active together. The next Friday Night Play Night will feature Zumba, Pilates, food demos and prizes! It will be held August 15 from 5:30pm-7:30pm at HyVee on Harrison in Quincy. This is a free event and is open to children of all ages and their families.
