Glad to hear that they are back open for business, and that everybody affected is going to be OK. (And yes, after reading this I'll admit I could go for several bowls of their cheese soup, heh heh heh.) If there is any tiny bit of a "silver lining" that can possibly come out of this unfortunate situation, I hope it's that QFD (and the members of the local news media) will take an opportunity…

Quincy YMCA to hold Tie Die Extravaganza

Kids can tie die clothing items for 4th of July

The Quincy Family YMCA will host a Red, White and Blue Tie Dye Extravaganza on Wednesday, June 25 in the Kids Fit Zone. There are two time slots available for the event; 9:30-10:30am or 4:30-5:30pm.

Come anytime during the Extravaganza hours and have the YMCA Staff help you tie dye your shirt, shorts, socks, etc red, white, and blue just in time for the 4th of July. Please bring a white item to be tie dyed and we will supply the rest! If you forget your white item there will be some available for purchase. Parents are welcome to stay and join in on the fun or take advantage of an hour away from the kids. Cost is $5 for members or $7 for non-members.
