That's interesting, because I've worked for 3 different Fortune 500 companies, and every time I've interviewed FIRST, and then, if they wanted to hire me, that's when they did the background checks. So, major, successful businesses in their actual hiring practices versus guy on the internet saying it should be done differently.. Which to believe, which to believe.....

Interview time is much more costly than a criminal background check. Successful people know that.

I am much more cynical than I am naive. There is such a thing as "contempt" which is what should be used here. Disturbances by cell phone users happens all across the planet - no reason why court rooms should be exempt.

Fundraiser will take place on June 15 at Quincy Regional Airport

Experimental Aircraft Association #488 will hold their annual Fly-in/Drive-in Pancake and Sausage Breakfast on Sunday, June 15th.

The fundraiser will take place from 7 - 11 am at the Great River Aviation Hanger at Quincy Regional Airport.

Breakfast is all you can eat and cost is $6 for adults and $3 for children.

As a non-profit group, the event is their major fundraiser for the year.  Most of the proceeds will go towards promoting aviation activities, especially with future and younger pilots.
