Brandishing a Firearm is against the law - DUH!!! I would suspect that the large majority of criminals who use a firearm do not go through any training and are probably not concealed carry card holders. Besides where in the story does it say anything about him receiving such training.

The event will take place from noon until 4:00 PM on June 30 at the Quincy Regional Training Facility’s Classroom Complex

The Quincy Regional Training Facility is hosting the 4th annual “Battle of the Badges” blood drive 
for the American Red Cross. The event will take place from noon until 4:00 PM on June 30 at the 
Quincy Regional Training Facility’s Classroom Complex. The classroom is located at 1900 
Seminary Road. 
 
This event is open to the public and we are asking the public to attend and show their support for 
their favorite branch of the emergency services. The competition will be between Adams County 
EMS provider, Adams County Law Enforcement providers and Adams County Fire Departments. 
Each person that participates will received a commemorative Red Cross t-shirt while supplies last.
