Survivor Celebration Dinner set for May 20

The American Cancer Society Survivor Celebration Dinner will take place Tuesday, May 20 ahead of the June 13 Relay for Life event and Survivor lap.

The event organizers are inviting all cancer survivors to attend the free dinner with a guest on May 20 at Town and Country Inn and Suites. The dinner begins at 5:30 p.m. Registration is automatic when registering for the Survivors lap.

Survivors are also encouraged to join Relay for Life on June 13 at Flinn Memorial Stadium for the “Survivor Lap” at 6:00 p.m. Their caregivers are invited to the “Caregiver Lap” immediately following.

Each registered cancer survivor (newly diagnosed or long term) will receive a complimentary Relay for Life survivor t-shirt to wear during the lap and throughout the year.

Registration is required at www.relayforlife.org/adamsil by clicking “sign up” and “walk the survivor lap.” Contact Amy Erva at (217) 523-4503 or amy.erva@cancer.org with questions.
