What a ridiculous story! (Probably should've been published in "The Onion" instead of in the Daily Mail.)

The article DOES state that the killer IS a Mexican national, CoolEdge. (The following is copied and pasted directly from the linked FoxNews article) FBI agents say Deniz, a Mexican national and green card holder, “admitted to shooting three people with a .22-caliber rifle and then driving away from the scene in the victims’ vehicle.”

Notwithstanding this somewhat reasonable reply and WC's self-righteous bloviating, the news media opened the door on this by reporting anything about it in the first place. The lack of any followup is curious to say the least. Applies to both the "apparent suicide" and the body found behind Dollar General. Not to say it hasn't happened many times in the past, but it is still curious…

Fish fry to benefit Fishing for Freedom

1 year, 4 months ago by Denise Donley

Proceeds will benefit veterans

All Proceeds to "Fishing for Freedom" - as a way for us to honor our Wounded Warriors and Global War on Terrorism Veterans and to show them our thanks and appreciation.

It is made possible by our patriotic American sponsors and sportsmen from the Tri-state area and from across the country.

The Global War on Terrorism (GWOT) will soon be entering its 14th year and many of our troops have served on multiple combat deployments.

The stress of combat and high operational tempo has strained our military and their families to no end. We have seen and heard the stories of these heroes as many have returned home with physical injuries, but a tremendous psychological toll is also being paid by our warriors.

The 4th Annual Fishing for Freedom event will be held on  Friday, June 6th, Saturday, June 7th and Sunday, June 8th, 2014

The Fish fry will be held Friday, April 4th at the Twin Oaks Club from 5-8 pm.

There will be the choice of Cat Fish and Wall Eye, choose two from baked beans, potato salad, applesauce and coleslaw and a dessert.

Bar will be open for soft drinks and beverages.

ALL for only $10 IN ADVANCE or $12 at the door.

Carry out will be available
