it all boils down to obeying authority. if they would have moved to the sidewalk, which common sense deems is safer, than none of this would have happened.

Actually, I was wrong in my previous comment: "A consular officer cannot: demand the immediate release of a U.S. citizen arrested abroad or otherwise cause the citizen to be released; represent a U.S. citizen at trial, give legal advice, or pay legal fees and/or fines with U.S. Government funds."

Ask the poor Marine in Mexico how well America cares for their Vets! I'm a US Veteran, sir (or ma'am) and I'm going to call you out for this. That dumbass is in jail for breaking the law. Him being a veteran doesn't mean he gets to do whatever the hell he wants. He got in his car, with a gun, a knowingly drove into Mexico where possession of a firearm is illegal. He got…

Fish fry to benefit Fishing for Freedom

4 months, 2 weeks ago by Denise Donley

Proceeds will benefit veterans

All Proceeds to "Fishing for Freedom" - as a way for us to honor our Wounded Warriors and Global War on Terrorism Veterans and to show them our thanks and appreciation.

It is made possible by our patriotic American sponsors and sportsmen from the Tri-state area and from across the country.

The Global War on Terrorism (GWOT) will soon be entering its 14th year and many of our troops have served on multiple combat deployments.

The stress of combat and high operational tempo has strained our military and their families to no end. We have seen and heard the stories of these heroes as many have returned home with physical injuries, but a tremendous psychological toll is also being paid by our warriors.

The 4th Annual Fishing for Freedom event will be held on  Friday, June 6th, Saturday, June 7th and Sunday, June 8th, 2014

The Fish fry will be held Friday, April 4th at the Twin Oaks Club from 5-8 pm.

There will be the choice of Cat Fish and Wall Eye, choose two from baked beans, potato salad, applesauce and coleslaw and a dessert.

Bar will be open for soft drinks and beverages.

ALL for only $10 IN ADVANCE or $12 at the door.

Carry out will be available
