This breathtaking season opens with THE 25TH ANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE, March 13-23. This Tony Award-winning musical spins the hysterical tale of six adolescent outsiders (played by adults) in the throes of puberty, overseen by grown-ups who barely managed to escape childhood themselves, vying for the spelling championship of a lifetime...to comical avail!
Following this new musical are the witty antics of Neil Simon’s comedic masterpiece THE ODD COUPLE, May 8-18. When slovenly sportswriter Oscar takes in his neurotic, neat-freak friend Felix after his wife throws him out, all comic pandemonium breaks loose. Audiences will be rolling as they discover (or rediscover) this sidesplitting comedy classic...starring two surprise performers (stay tuned for more info)!
Then, relive the world-wide phenomenon LES MISERALBÉS, July 17-27. Epic, grand and uplifting, LES MISÉRABLES, the world’s longest-running musical, sweeps its audience through an unforgettable tale of passion and destruction in 19th century France.
Featuring a Broadway-caliber performer as Jean Valjean, this pop opera, with its powerful affirmation of the human spirit, overflows with melodies that have already become standards—making this musical a modern masterpiece.
Later on, try to survive the most popular mystery in history—Agatha Christie’s AND THEN THERE WERE NONE, Sept. 11-21 (formerly known as Ten Little Indians). Ten people, each with something to hide and something to fear, are invited to a lonely mansion on Soldier Island by a host who, surprisingly, fails to appear. One by one, the guests share the darkest secrets of their wicked pasts. And one by one, they start to die...
Finally, ring in the holidays with a beautiful musical adaptation of A CHRISTMAS CAROL, Dec. 4-14. Join Dickens himself as he guides us through the musical adaptation of this timeless classic, written by the director of Broadway’s Spiderman: Philip Wm. McKinley. Come celebrate the holiday spirit with your whole family in this musical experience they will treasure years to come!
