Two juveniles arrested on burglary, drug-related charges

Two sixteen year olds were attempting to steal a purse from a parked truck

On Tuesday at approximately 7:00 p.m.,  Quincy Police were dispatched to 5th and Spring in reference male subjects stealing a purse from a parked truck in that area.

Quincy Police apprehended two 16-year-old juvenile males several blocks from the reported incident. 

The juveniles were found to be in possession of a cell phone and a credit card belonging to the victim that reported the stolen purse. 

One juvenile was charged with Burglary to Motor Vehicle and Possession of Cannabis less than 2 grams and the other juvenile was charged with Burglary to Vehicle and Manufacture to Deliver Cannabis 20 to 30 grams. 

Both juveniles were lodged in the Adams County Youth Detention Center.
