Two arrested, one injured following meth bust

EMS response leads to arrests


Emergency personnel responded to a report of man that had been injured at 7001 Timber Ridge North late Monday afternoon.  An investigation into the incident was conducted by the Illinois State Police Methamphetamine Response Team, the West Central Illinois Task Force and the Adams County Sheriffs Office.  

The investigation led to a search warrant being served at that location.  Agents report the seizure of a shake and bake methamphetamine laboratory and a large amount of methamphetamine manufacturing waste.  

Resident Garth L. Myers, 24, was arrested on the charge of Aggravated Participation in Methamphetamine Production.  Myers was lodged in the Adams County Jail.  

Joshua M. Sibbing, 26, was located at 1530 Hinton Drive, and was arrested for Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine Precursor.  Sibbing was also lodged in the Adams County Jail.

A second resident of 7001 Timber Ridge was transported to Blessing Hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries.  The investigation is ongoing and additional arrests are anticipated.
