Three arrested in connection with Ursa burglary

Two also arrested on additional meth charges


On Tuesday evening, the Adams County Sheriff's Office and the West Central IL Drug Task Force, conducting follow-up investigation on a reported residential burglary in Ursa, stopped a vehicle near the intersection of 9th and Washington in Quincy.  During the traffic stop, items indicating suspected meth use and meth possession was discovered.  The driver, 32 year old Trisha Thomas of Quincy, and passenger, 31 year old Daniel Noe of Durham, Mo., were arrested for possessing the suspected meth.  Further investigation indicated their suspected involvement in a the residential burglary.  The burglary involved, in part, multiple firearms.  They were lodged on multiple charges including Residential Burglary, Possession Weapon By Felon, Theft, Possession Meth. 29 year old Lawrence J. Douglas of Quincy was a part of the investigation and interview process as well.  He was lodged on Possession of Weapon by a Felon and Unlawful Possession of Stolen property.
