A few of the parents of kids on this team are the ones who may be lacking maturity . Most people with ties to QND know who those specific parents are, and I hope the ones who know them really let their feelings show. Crazies, just like at QHS can sometimes run the show.

yes, last years team was a great example of a team going to state and the talent was there, no one predicted they would go that far. No one.

She's hardly the voice of the right wing...She can be fun to listen too sometimes...much like the left enjoys the rantings of Nancy Pelosi, Gore, and their ilk. Nobody is going to pick Palin for any position. The media have succeeded in demonizing her and she's not done herself a lot of good either.

thanks for the added details still seems to me he should take credit or blame, and any efforts to build plausible deniability is political, somewhat dishonest, and wasteful. But "that's politics". People finally voted for change, a Republican even. That might rock the establishment boat a little, and Moore is pretty young, but time will tell if the voters were on the right track. Hopefully…

I'd like to see what Bonness can do. Sounds like he has plenty of experience and he is QND alumni.

Strawman: Getting Things Done in August.....

5 months, 4 weeks ago by Strawman

While Congress wraps up a “we think we actually did something July” and celebrates the repair of the Veteran’s Administration scandal by throwing a few bucks at the problem, the President is preparing for the biggest month of executive overreach in the nation’s history.

Here it comes folks, the August we’ll never forget.

Obama jumped the gun by signing a new executive order on July 31st designed to “help the worker settle disputes with the employer.”  Translated:  more government meddling into business that’s none of their business.  Using the “we’re here to help the little guy” (ie. The worker) Obama and his cadre of socialists will again step into a management role they’re not suited for.  But that matters not—as Obama is all-knowing and all-seeing---don’t cha know?

And while we’re on the topic of people the president really likes, how about those Muslims? Obama, thought by many to be a Muslim sympathizer, added another brick to the wall of belief when he recently thanked Muslim Americans for their many achievements and contributions…to building the very fabric of our nation and strengthening the core of our democracy.  Of course he made that comment while speaking to a group of Muslims marking the celebration of Eid-al-Fitr, a time of spiritual renewal for Muslims.  And a special time for you and me too.  Funny, I don’t remember any Muslims signing the Declaration of Independence, do you?  Can you name any Muslims hanging out with Washington, Jefferson, Franklin or Adams in the late 1700’s?  Am I missing something here?  By the way, in an effort to get a better understanding of the Qur’an, Jefferson did reach out to an envoy from Tunisia in 1805.  However, the first Muslim Congressman didn’t come along until 2007.  That’s a long way from 1776, isn’t it?

But all that shouldn’t matter as the president, with assistance from John Kerry, has clearly supported Israel’s position in its battle with Hamas these past few weeks and has gone the extra mile to make sure EVERYONE in the world understands on whose side America is on.  Or has he?  Didn’t Kerry attempt to get Benjamin Netanyahu to agree to a cease fire and stand down while Hamas restocked the shelves and reloaded?  Didn’t Kerry send 47 million tax payer dollars to Hamas for “humanitarian reasons?”  Has Kerry got that kind of clout? Can Kerry write that big a check—and then send it to the bad guys WITHOUT someone with a pen and phone giving him the big thumbs up?   One has to think that Kerry is following orders from someone here, don’t you think?

And let’s not forget the border invasion.  Write this down, Mr. P & P (phone and pen) will grant amnesty to the aliens currently incarcerated and those on the way during August while John Boehner is playing the back nine and cheating on his scorecard.  While Aaron Schock, attired in pastel polo shirts, shorts and sandals, tours the homeland of Illinois, Obama will continue to cut deals with the thugs running Mexico and select Central American countries.  The Obama plan: they export their problem people, their gang members-- and the United States sends each country millions of dollars in aid and welcomes their undesirables.    And you and I get to watch it happen while the president blames the Republicans and the main stream press cheers him on.  It’s genius!!!

And let me leave the month of July with this nugget: not to be overlooked is the SEIU’s involvement on the attack on McDonalds.  "Fighting for $15" is a catchy slogan.  And with the support of the president, albeit behind the scenes, and both the SEIU and the NLRB, one can see where this is going.  More intervention into the private sector by a group whose sole purpose in life is to bring business to its knees.  Obama promised the SEIU in 2009 he would be there for them—and there he is.  Get ready for that $12 BIG MAC. Can you afford fries with that?

So, get out there and get those school supplies citizens!!!  And be sure to press 1 for Common Core and 2 for Spanish.  Those are 2 things you can count on!!!

Adios muchacho!!!
