4tolerance - Quincy City Council votes to sell defaulting loans - Quincy, IL News - QuincyJournal.com
If I am not mistaken, the loan amount from the revolving loan fund has a maximum of $50,000 and cannot exceed the amount of the participating bank's loan. If I am correct on that, which I may or may not be, then Bank of Quincy would have a minimum of $50,000 loaned on each originally. The City will take a hit of $83,754 and BOQ will have a loan balance of no less than $113,754 + $30,000 in buying…

I love you RUHEARINGVOICES... You hit the nail on the head... My goal is to acquire the lowest negative score ever from these hopeless conservatives. They are incorrigible. Faux news is not fair and balanced. It is outdated an unimaginative like the Old Testament.

Strawman: Save Me Jimmy Carter, Save Me!!!

5 months, 1 week ago by Strawman

If you’re finding it more difficult to make ends meet you can look to the east and thank the power brokers who are now in charge of our lives. The current group of elected officials and the various agencies and appointed minions have done a wonderful job of bringing the country to a screeching halt.  Thank you Saul Alinsky.

The economy is on life support.  The stock market is being propped up with an infusion of government funds each month, while consumers, you and me, are being told that all is well, the recession is behind us and we’re on the road to recovery.  So, why doesn’t it feel like that?  What about those 93 million people out of work?  And the unemployment rate is 6.3%?  Really?

Prices on everything are already well north of where they were a year ago. http://www.usatoday.com/story/money/business/2014/06/17/consumer-prices-may/10642375/.  And, with Iraq, and the Middle East for that matter, in turmoil, it’s a cinch that the prices at the pump will rise, pressuring the American consumer even more.  http://www.marketwatch.com/story/crude-oil-pushes-toward-107-after-iraq-refinery-attacked-2014-06-18.

We’re being squeezed, folks.  They’re getting us a few cents at a time and have been for years.  The Federal Government is confiscating record amounts of taxes, but they’re still running at a deficit. We’re living in the “I got mine and the hell with you” Obama era and it looks as though there’s nothing we can do about it.

Of late, there are days when even Jimmy Carter looks good.  In Carter’s defense, he was a lousy president because he was totally incompetent.  In Obama’s case, everything that’s happening now is the result of a plan that is right on schedule.

The IRS, Fast and Furious, Benghazi…..they’re all part of the plan to cut America down to size.  And he’s done just that.

The question is when does the American citizen say enough is enough and start imitating the president?  When does Joe Citizen say, “Obama picks and choses the laws he likes and adheres to, why not me?"

Obama has made it pretty obvious that those of current residing here legally are not as good as those individuals who are coming across the border illegally. He recently reminded Democratic donors that “our future rests” on the success of the Dreamers.  Translated: those children entering the United States illegally are better than American kids.  I find that comment to be fascinating.  That statement, to me, means that those of us living here, paying taxes, have no value, and serve no purpose---other than fund those who are accepting the invitation to invade our country, use our resources and be provided for by those who don’t count. That’s you and me. And our kids don’t count either.  They’re just here to toil for the man and dig the country out of the 17 trillion dollar deficit Obama and those before him have saddled us with.  And stop breathing so much.  Climate change dude, climate change.

And while that goes on our president continues to approve the release of prisoners in Afghanistan, preach the word of global warming and look the other way on the “missing” IRS emails. What ever happened to getting to the bottom of that IRS scandal?  Wasn’t the president madder than anybody?  Seems to me he was.  And the latest prisoner release program; another dozen in Afghanistan?  http://www.libertynewsonline.com/article_363_35686.php.

Wasn’t the 5 for 1 Bergdahl swap enough?  What about I.C.E. releasing 36,000 illegal aliens back into American society—wasn’t that enough?  No Joe Citizen.  It wasn’t enough.  Go back to work.  We have bills to pay.

What was that?  Eighteen months after the fact the USA finally apprehends the man behind the Benghazi attack?  Five news agencies interviewed this guy, but the United States just now got around to picking him up?  So answer this one: how much will the Obama regime pay him to say that the Benghazi attack was the result of “the video”?  Wait for it folks, the whopper of all whoppers is about to be justified.

So, the IRS is telling us "the dog ate my homework" and we're expected to nod and go about our business.  Looks like the dog ate the Constitution too.

Save me Jimmy Carter, save me!!
