Not a Cruz man (yet??) but the blow back from Republican leaders is a bunch of self-righteous bunk.

As I asked at first, do you know this from legal precedence UKWP, or that's just how you read it? Obviously you THINK that's what it means, and I understood your view from the start. I'm not sure that is what it really means though. And your "read it till you understand" snark indicates you're just being arrogant and stubborn. You still refuse to answer my question. How do…

Oh my goodness, I believe it is up to the person whether they wear short or long sleeves based on what temperature is in the room. Some news outlets will do just about anything to stir up identity politics. With the many very difficult issues we have in this country, this one doesn't pass the "smell test".

I am willing to concede that everything is sexist if Ms Dvorak will agree to SHUT UP.

Thanks for all of that but go back and read the phrase "lawfully in his possession" and keep reading it until you understand it. It's in the middle of your own post. The reason that phrase is in there is to distinguish between property that you can use force to protect: that which is "lawfully in his possession" and that which you cannot use force to protect: that which is not lawfully in his…

Strawman: Is He REALLY Mad as Hell?

1 year, 2 months ago by Strawman

I don’t know about you but I’m feeling a whole lot better about the most recent developments on the Veteran’s Administration debacle now that Barack Obama is aware we have problems in that department.  I was SO relieved that the president said, “He was mad as hell and would get to the bottom of it,” AGAIN.  Why, the president actually sent a senior staff member to Arizona to help the V.A. get their act together.  That ONE GUY is going to make a difference!  And once he’s done we’ll get the usual, “it’s been investigated, nothing to see here” rhetoric that comes as standard equipment.  Count on it.

The video montage shows that when the droppings hit the fan, Obama reaches into his usual bag of recycled responses and we end up getting more of what we’ve been getting from the president for years; lies.

The list of the Obama scandals is as long as the Affordable Care Act and it's getting longer each day.  The pandering to the special interests while, at the same time, ignoring veterans and those still on active duty is unacceptable and un-called for.  Do you now understand why I’ve called the Obama administration the “get-even-with-Whitey” group for years here?  Is some of this starting to sink in?

It’s my hope that with Memorial Day coming up and the Fishing for Freedom event just around the bend, each of us take some time to pay homage to those who have served our great country.  Please do so while there’s still time—and while we’re still allowed to.

And if, by chance, you are not mad as hell about what this administration has done to our veterans, and our country then my heart goes out to you.  My fear is that you’ll wake up long after it’s too late to do something about it.
