Absolutely not. Everyone in government needs to be held accountable for spending tax payer dollars. I'm not necessarily for the jail project (or against it). But the notion that we should "take care of ourselves" by not paying any taxes, or comparing a jail to obama phones and welfare is assinine. Almost as ridiculous as the original text of the article. We need a jail. Do we need a new one? Do…

I've asked before and I will ask again: When/If a new "justice center' is built, will the current jail and police station in town be closed permanently or will both remain open and staffed? If remain open, for the need to house prisoners awaiting their day in court, then staffing will be needed. Transportation costs will go up, to bring the prisoner from the 'justice center' into…

You are willing then to hand over a debatable amount of 25 million dollars? Without a plan, without any allocation of properties? All on the ridiculous idea it's unsafe for the employees? The county will get sued is the latest argument.... In the most secure supermax prisons lawsuits I'm sure are most common. So forgive me for not trusting the government to handle our money reasonably.…

Don't you think it is a little early for speculations? At least wait until he is in the ground.

Strawman: Is He REALLY Mad as Hell?

10 months, 1 week ago by Strawman

I don’t know about you but I’m feeling a whole lot better about the most recent developments on the Veteran’s Administration debacle now that Barack Obama is aware we have problems in that department.  I was SO relieved that the president said, “He was mad as hell and would get to the bottom of it,” AGAIN.  Why, the president actually sent a senior staff member to Arizona to help the V.A. get their act together.  That ONE GUY is going to make a difference!  And once he’s done we’ll get the usual, “it’s been investigated, nothing to see here” rhetoric that comes as standard equipment.  Count on it.

The video montage shows that when the droppings hit the fan, Obama reaches into his usual bag of recycled responses and we end up getting more of what we’ve been getting from the president for years; lies.

The list of the Obama scandals is as long as the Affordable Care Act and it's getting longer each day.  The pandering to the special interests while, at the same time, ignoring veterans and those still on active duty is unacceptable and un-called for.  Do you now understand why I’ve called the Obama administration the “get-even-with-Whitey” group for years here?  Is some of this starting to sink in?

It’s my hope that with Memorial Day coming up and the Fishing for Freedom event just around the bend, each of us take some time to pay homage to those who have served our great country.  Please do so while there’s still time—and while we’re still allowed to.

And if, by chance, you are not mad as hell about what this administration has done to our veterans, and our country then my heart goes out to you.  My fear is that you’ll wake up long after it’s too late to do something about it.
