Temps 9.4 degrees below normal, man that global warming is a bear. Somebody call Al Gore and tell him he has to change his tune to global cooling.

Isn't that too bad Quinn didn't get his money's worth using our tax dollars to buy votes. Guess he'll have to come up with a better way to buy votes with our tax dollars.

Strawman: Schooled and Fooled by Professor Putin.....

4 months, 2 weeks ago by Strawman

Welcome to the University of Putin—a small, but powerful school of higher learning dedicated to destroying the dreams of those who live in the land of “It’s All About Me.”  The U OF P has but one professor and he’s damn good.  Just ask those in the Obama Administration.

His name is Vladimir Putin and at age 61, the good professor, and President of Russia (2012) has been in the spotlight of late.  He did so first as the host of the Winter Olympics in Sochi.  Since that time he’s jangled a few nerves, caused a few on the left to raise their voices and, oh by the way, captured the Crimea without firing a shot.

That’s good stuff.

Of course the geniuses in the State Department, and those residing at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue have cried foul, demanded an explanation and a 15 yard penalty on Professor Putin, but to no avail.  Putin remains steadfast—and is making it look easy.

Now it’s about here I should provide you with a few quotes from the president and John Kerry.  “Blah-blah-blah,” said John Kerry.  How was that?  Theirs is simply another case of being overmatched in the brain department.  They have, however, gone to great lengths to attempt to spin the situation by intimating that Putin regrets the Russian advances in Ukraine and Crimea. But that, at least to me, comes off as more spin from those who have been embarrassed on a world-wide scale and have no answer for Putin.  And so they spin.

Oh, and for those of you waiting for our big, strong president to come from nowhere and hit the game winning shot—keep waiting.  Obama is the same guy who announced the Russian troop movement into the Ukraine last week and then promptly headed across town for a couple of party fund raisers. Didn’t’ he pull something similar on September 11, 2012?  Why, yes he did!!

One of Obama’s first crowning achievements on the global scale was orchestrating the removal of the missile defense in Poland in 2009.   And, of late, has been a champion of reducing our military to pre-1940 levels.  Yeah, Barack Obama is all about doing the right thing.

Unfortunately we’ll look back on the 8 years of Obama in office and wonder why we didn’t do something about it.  Higher energy prices, long term unemployment, record numbers of citizens on food stamps, a crippled economy, public sector scandals and a once powerful world position gone by the way side.  Oh, and how’s that green energy thing working out?

Maybe we can blame it on a YouTube video.  Looks like it worked once…..
