In September 1945 the USS Missouri was the site for the signing of the Instrument of Surrender between Japan and the United States.
Where will John Boehner and Mitch McConnel hold theirs?
Under relentless pressure by the non-Tea Party-faction in both the House and Senate Boehner and McConnel have done everything but perform unnatural sex acts on members of the Democrat ruling regime in order to get their point across. Try as they might, suggest as they might, provide one proposal after another as they must, those on the Right have been depicted AS--those in the Wrong.
One of the many bills sent to the Senate called for the funding of individual portions of the government—virtually everything—but the Affordable Health Care Act. Of course, that wasn’t acceptable to President Obama. He called the Republicans “extremists” and “hostage takers” and said he wouldn’t negotiate. There was something in there about funding portions of the government that didn’t make sense. So, tell me loyal followers on the left, how does it make sense to pass a disaster like Obamacare without one Republican vote? How does it make sense to spend over 650 million dollars on a website that doesn’t work? How does it make sense to allocate over 700 million dollars for an ad campaign to promote a law (Affordable Health Care) that’s already on the books and supposed to be the greatest thing since the shirt pocket was invented? And how, and this is the one that really gets me, does it make sense to hand out Obamacare waivers to big business, unions, friends and CONGRESS? How is all of that OK, and funding one portion of the government at a time NOT? Another series of lies and obfuscations? That’s your call.
And then there’s this: every newscast you see and hear of late leads with America defaulting on the debt—something that won’t happen and can’t happen. Unless that decision comes from 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. According to Forbes Magazine, “not raising the debt limit does not mean defaulting on the national debt, any more than not increasing your credit limit means you can’t pay your monthly credit card bill, and must default on that.”
Obama, as does the lap-dog news media, know this to be the case, but that doesn’t make for good copy, or a worthy talking point, so they both fabricate the truth. Better yet, they both flat out lie about it. So what else is new?
I say crash this thing and make those on the left make the next move. Take the fork away from the fat man at the buffet and say, “no more, big fella.” Close a few more monuments Mr. President so even the dumbest of us out here can see what kind of low life you really are. And then, when NOTHING happens, what will you and your media sycophants have to say then?
It’s time to stop kicking the can down the road. It’s time to start kicking those responsible for the condition this country is in OUT of office.
