Task Force sting nets three arrests

On Thursday, the West Central Illinois Task Force and the Adams County Sheriffs Office conducted a drug investigation in the 1300 block of Broadway in Quincy.  

The Investigation resulted in the seizure of heroin, a 9 mm semi automatic weapon, United States Currency, and drug paraphernalia.  

Arrested during the incident were the following:

Cory J. Cyr, age 28 of Quincy on the charges of Unlawful Possession of Heroin, and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Felon.

Jeffrey Lance Anderson, age 27 of Hannibal, Missouri, on the charges of Controlled Substance Trafficking and Unlawful Possession of Heroin.

Thomas O. Vito, age 29 of St. Louis, Missouri on the charges of Controlled Substance Trafficking, and Unlawful Possession of Heroin.

All three subjects were transported to the Adams County Jail and remain lodged.  The investigation led to the search of 1220 1/2 Vermont were additional heroin and the firearm were seized.  

The Task Force and County Officers were assisted in the investigation by the Quincy Police Department Street Crimes Unit.
