Sullivan campaign tops $200,000 in third quarter contributions

Transfers from PAC's and Unions make up the majority of the contributions
State Sen. John Sullivan continues to haul in the cash according to the 2012 third quarter financial disclosure report filed on Friday.
Sullivan raked in transfers from PAC’s, Unions and other candidates to the tune of $126,750. The Rushville Democrat also pulled in more than $82,000 in individual contributions.
Sullivan also received more than $21,000 in in-kind contributions, including members of the Quincy Federation of Teachers being reimbursed by the Illinois Federation of Teachers for making phone calls on behalf of the Sullivan campaign. Click here for more.
So while Sullivan pulled in $230,000 in donations and in-kind contributions for the third quarter reporting period, he also spent a little more than $213,000. His campaign still has $431,562 cash on hand.
