Strawman: Wisconsin redux

Strawman: Wisconsin redux

Hey everybody!!!  Moody’s has given the state of Illinois the lowest ranking of any state in the Union!!!  Isn’t that something to be proud of?   Illinois had to BORROW to make its two most recent  annual pension payments which brought the rating down to A-1.   Isn’t that like using your VISA to make your MASTERCARD payment?  Meanwhile, our neighbor to the north, Wisconsin, last week withstood a vicious attack from the left in which the unions and organizing thugs spent 35 million dollars on advertising in an effort to win 3 Senate seats which would have given them control of Wisconsin State Senate.   But the left got just 2 of the necessary 3 seats needed and could break even, should they lose the 2 recall elections being held today. This means that first year Governor Scott Walker (R) will be able to move his agenda forward unencumbered—which, to date has put Wisconsin back  in the black—added 9500 net new jobs in June, while Illinois lost 7200-and on and on.  Even the biggest left-wing cry-babies in Wisconsin are admitting the new Walker policies are working—creating jobs and saving tax payer money.   When is the last time that happened here?   Which makes you have to wonder—when will Pat Quinn and the Democrat controlled Illinois House and Senate start doing what’s right for us?  Or will being thrown under the bus be good enough for us?
