Strawman: Reason #4 Why Mr. Obama Doesn't Deserve a Second Term

Obamacare…reason number four not to vote for Obama/Biden next week.  “We’ll have to pass the health care bill so you can find out what’s in it,” Nancy Pelosi informed America in March 2010.  I thought that was a cute way of telling taxpayers across the country that we had reached the peak of stupidity, then I realized this administration had another couple of years to serve—and there had to be more to come.

Never, in the history of our great nation, had we collectively been less represented than we were with the passing of this bill.  It was passed without a single Republican crossing the aisle, it was passed after a number of deals were cut and a number of Democrats were paid off.  And no one read the damn bill.  No one.  How could they?  Logging in at over 2700 pages and comprised of terminology that only a lawyer/insurance underwriter could understand, the Affordable Healthcare Bill is the poster child for what’s wrong with this country.

In September of this year Edmund Haislmaier of The Heritage Foundation, while speaking at the annual meeting of the Industrial Association, astonished the crowd of CEO’s and business owners with the revelation that he and his staff are STILL READING the Health Care Bill, some 2 years after it became law. That’s STILL READING, as in, we have to read every word in order to interpret what’s in the bill.  Nancy Pelosi didn’t know how right she was.  What Haislmaier and his staff have discovered that Obamacare, in addition to killing jobs and further interfering with life was we know it, is loaded with a myriad of bureaucratic twists and turns that even the geniuses who wrote the thing didn’t realize were in there.

And you and I get to pay for it.

One would think that The Affordable Health Care Act, deemed by some to be this president’s crowning achievement, would be a significant plank in Mr. Obama’s reelection platform.  But it hasn’t been.  In fact, Obamacare has become the turd in the punchbowl for those on the left—causing many to run FROM the bill, rather than run on it.

So, if you still need ammunition to help convince those who still don’t know who they’re voting for, or are considering on giving the Obama/Biden ticket another four years, Obamacare, and all that’s wrong with it, should be addressed.

Or you could just point out that this administration is comprised of liars, tax cheats and Muslim sympathizers….but that might be too simple.
