Strawman: Mitt Romney-Superman or Dirt Bag?
9 months, 2 weeks ago
After everything I’ve heard and read about Mitt Romney these past few weeks I think he’s either the worst person ever to walk the earth—or the most talented.
It’s like this: Romney tours a number of foreign countries, makes a few speeches, voices his opinion on the Olympic Games and gets ripped by the press. “The Gaff Tour” was how one of the liberal media outlets positioned the effort by Romney. And this is the same group who believes Joe Biden is a deep thinker?
And then there’s the imaginary friend of Harry Reid. You know; the Bain Capital insider who “called” Reid and whispered that Romney hadn’t paid any taxes for the past 10 years. Really? Does anyone really think that someone who’s running for President—a second time—would think that being a tax delinquent for a decade wouldn’t raise a red flag—and would give it a shot anyway? Who’s this Romney guy think he is---Barack Obama?
And here’s Romney again, closing a steel plant in Kansas City, and causing a former worker at the GST Steel Plant to lose his job—and his health care-- in 2001. Seems the poor fellow’s wife passed away from cancer---in 2006—and that’s Romney’s fault. What makes this even more amazing is that Romney had left Bain in February 1999—a full two years before the plant closed---and was running the Olympics--for free. You leftys will have to admit that Romney has to be pretty talented guy to close a factory and keep the former factory worker from getting another job with health benefits for a full five years. (Tongue in cheek here) Even the New York Freaking Times thinks that story is bull____--so that’s saying something. (http://www.nytimes.com/2012/08/08/us/politics/ex-factory-worker-links-losses-to-bain.html)
I’ll close with this: either slap the flex-cuffs on this Romney character and charge him with something, subpoena his tax records and throw him in jail—or make Harry Reid disclose his source and have the former GST worker tells us what why he didn’t provide for his family better. Do something other than roll out this line of crap and continue to confuse the easily confused—like those of you who voted for our current President in 2008.
So, since the "hopey-changy thing" didn't work out---how about you provide me with one good reason why you’re voting for Obama come November ? Keep the usual snide liberal comments to yourself and tell us all what Mr. Obama has done to deserve a second term in the White House.
This should be interesting…………
