Ahhh, just a few short weeks away from the beginning of his second term, and the great Barack Obama has, again, come to the rescue.  Casting aside that relic that is the Constitution and ignoring the governing body known as Congress, Obama, surrounded by liberals, young and old alike, signed new legislation designed to make it tougher on law abiding Americans to acquire guns.

Where, I ask you, would we be without our President?

“I will put everything I’ve got into this, and so will Joe,” declared the President. And so he did.  Almost two-dozen executive actions were put into place with the stroke of a pen.  And don’t you feel better for it?

A special thanks to Misters Obama and Biden for the outstanding job they’ve done in the past four years—protecting the general public and taxpayers alike.  No need to mention the 516 murders in Chicago last year—nothing to see here---move along quietly.

And let’s not forget the swift and speedy trial of Major Nidal Malik Hasan, the Army psychiatrist charged in the 2009 shootings at Fort Hood.  Some three years later the Army, with Barack H. Obama as Commander in Chief, has managed to do---nothing.  Wait, my mistake; they got Hasan a new judge, after the previous judge, Col. Gregory Gross, displayed an appearance of bias—because he ordered Army officials to shave Major Hasan’s beard.   Thirty eight months after the senseless killings witnessed by dozens, all the Army has done is fire a judge for demanding the perpetrator’s beard be shaved.  Col. Tara A. Osborn, an Army chief circuit judge, has been appointed to handle the proceedings moving forward.  I wonder if she’ll be required to wear a burka while hearing the case?

Thirteen died, over two dozen were wounded.  There were dozens of witnesses—hundreds of lives destroyed ---and we’re worrying about this guy’s beard.

But don’t fret citizen.  Obama, Biden, Rahm Emanuel and all the crazy leftists have taken another step closer to a Common Sense approach to controlling the one thing that is first and foremost on the mind of most all us; gun control.

Deficit spending, tax increases, rising food prices, eroding disposable income, high unemployment, government waste, the Muslim Brotherhood, the war in Afghanistan……?   Nope, let’s make sure the new minority class, the employed taxpayer, is penalized once again for the wrong doings of the crazed and demented who have performed the horrible acts that have kicked started the liberal gun kooks into action.  Oh, and while we’re at it, let’s implore our friends in the press to hang on every grunt and every blank stare provided by the accused.  Makes for some good TV, don’t you know?

Wait, what’s that sound?  More gunfire?  No, it’s the sound of Obama and Biden slapping one another on the back.

Gosh, I feel SO much safer now.  Don’t you?
