Strawman: Her Rightful Place In History

I’m sure glad we’ve got this Benghazi thing behind us.  Even if those crazy, obstinate Republicans dared to challenge the noble Hillary Clinton on what, according to most accounts, was a job well done this past September 11^th—America can stand tall and be proud the way our leaders bravely faced the odds and got us through unscathed.   Why, had it not been for Mrs Clinton, we might have lost more than the four brave souls we did.  It could have been a catastrophe of monumental proportions had she not stepped in and lead the way in both protecting our embassy and those who occupied it.  We, as a country, owe Hillary Rodham Clinton a debt of gratitude.  How about a generous pension and an armed guards for the rest of her life?  Yeah, that should do it.

And while we’re at it, there’s no reason why we, the American people, shouldn’t have a chance to share in her moment—like maybe on national TV?  What was that?  Mrs Clinton and President Obama were on “60 Minutes” Sunday night?  Well let’s head over to the CBS website and take a look see.  Hey, there’s a transcript!!  Does it get any better than this?

Get this; the President really hits it out of the park with this line. “Well, the main thing is I just wanted to have a chance to publicly say thank you because I think Hillary will go down as one of the finest secretary of states we’ve had.  I want the country to appreciate just want an extraordinary role she’s played during the course of my administration and a lot of successes we’ve had internationally have been because of her hard work.”

Of course Mrs Clinton responded on what a pleasure it’s been to work with the President and be part of this historic first term of his administration and what an honor it’s been to visit every fly invested, third world country on the planet and have to make nice with leaders who would just as soon trade her for a goat as look at her.  Golly gosh darn Barack—you were just so good to me!!!

And there sat CBS lap dancer, Steve Kroft, dutifully lobbing one softball question after another at America’s most disingenuous couple while they lovingly gazed at one another nodding and smiling and smoothly delivering another bold face whopper while Mr. and Mrs Mid-America sat in the family room and lapped it up like soft-serve vanilla.  Gosh, that Hillary Clinton is one hell of a woman.  Well, she is!!  What other woman do you know can run for Senate in a state she’s barely set foot in (New York) and get elected on the first try?  And she would have been the 44^th President had that Obama not organized the SEIU and cost her the nomination. ACORN, SEIU, the TEAMSTERS…..them’s Barack’s people and even the great and powerful Hillary Clinton couldn’t deal with them! 

And so, some four months and sixteen days after four American’s died due to lack of proper protection and support by the Obama Administration, the nation is treated to another in a long list of fairy tales by CBS and Mr. Obama.

And you’re absolutely correct, Mr. President.  Hillary Clinton will go down as one of this nation’s great Secretary of States.   As soon as you command those in control the history books to write it that way.
