Strawman: Finally--a Lefty Who Makes Sense.......

Just who the hell does Phil Mickelson think he is?  How dare he complain about high taxes during the booming economy and regulation free business environment thanks to the ingenious policies provided by the Obama Administration?

In case you’re not a rich guy who follows golf (that’s where the players hit a ball with a “club”, then find it and hit it again) Phil Mickelson is one of the most successful players in the game’s history.  He’s won 40 tournaments (a tournament is where a bunch of rich guys hit the ball, then find it, hit it again and so on, then  get paid WAY too much money, and then fly home to their trophy wives/girlfriends, then do it all over again the next week), won almost 68 million dollars (or roughly what it take to run the Obama Administration for about 6 minutes) over the course of his career and is, like a lot of high income folks, fed up with getting blamed for not giving enough.  So, he’s thinking about a move.

“Well,” said Mickelson, “it’s been an interesting offseason, and I’m going to have to make some drastic changes.”  The Mickelson family resides in Rancho Santa Fe, just north of San Diego.  “I’m not going to jump the gun and do it right away, but I will be making some drastic changes.  If you add up all the federal and you look at the disability and the unemployment and Social Security and the state (taxes), my tax rate is 62-63%,”he continued.  I’ve got to make some changes on what I am going to do.

Wow!!  A rich, likeable, high profile, white family man speaking the truth about being over taxed by the unaccountable administrations at the state and federal level?  Why, over 55% of America probably wants this guy incarcerated for daring to say that which has been on the mind of any of those in the high income bracket.   And that 55% might just go after Mickelson, but they’d have to put down the Cheetos,  lace up the sweat pants, find that other flip-flop and set the DVR to record “Judge Judy” before they could waddle out to the car.  But then again, all that would be WAY TOO much work, and who needs work when guys like Mickelson are paying the rent?

So, here’s the Strawman’s take; good for Phil!  Good for anyone out there who moves out of a high taxation state (California, Illinois, New York) and tells them to kiss the crease in his trousers on the way out.  Good for anyone who speaks out about the childish collection of self-serving morons we’ve elected to “watch out” for us.  It’s time for professional athletes, show business folks and job creating businessmen and women to start calling it the way it is.  This is fast break socialism and Obama has the ball!!  

By the way, the Mickelson family attends church and both his wife AND mother are cancer survivors.  Sounds like fair game for the attack dogs in the Obama kennel.   You wait, you’ll hear some snarky nonsense coming from the left—they live for this stuff.
