Strawman: Democrats-Beware The Ides of March

Democrats: beware the Ides of March as they are upon you. 

Finally someone on the right had the nerve and knowledge to put one of these left-wing, “I’ve been around since fire was invented” liberals in their place.  Her name is Diane Feinstein.  And, next to Barbara Boxer (d), she’s the most embarrassing thing to happen to California since Maxine Waters (yes, another democrat).  Of course Senator Feinstein is highly regarded by those on the left coast.  She’s a former Mayor of San Francisco and was on the scene when the gay movement took over the city by the bay.  Yes, friends, Feinstein is that old.  So, when Cruz dared to question her about some of her assumptions and conclusions as they pertained to guns and the rights of those to bear arms, she played the “I was there when” card.   Sorry Senator, that used to work, but, like the so many of the tried and true plays rolled out by the left over the years, that weak cheese is starting to provoke Cruz, and those like him.  And so “I’ve appeared before the Supreme Court Cruz” politely reached across the aisle and slapped the taste from the mouth of the Senior Senator from California as she was slobbering through another mindless, empty answer.   

So is Ted Cruz the SOB everyone thinks he is?  He must be.  As the Freshman Senator from Texas has been the target of every left wing blogger and lefty-kook website in the land for quite a while now. And, it’s only the middle of the month.  You know you’ve drawn blood when Pulitzer Prize winning sites like mainwashed.com, motherjones.com, politomix.com, crooksandliars.com and some of the other crazys are going out of their way to attempt to re-write history by making Feinstein out to the winner of last week’s Cruz/Feinstein encounter.  But she wasn’t.  Unfortunately neither was Cruz.

You see, even some on his team called out Cruz for what could be called elder abuse.  Charles Krauthammer thought that Cruz had gone over the line, and there were others who agreed with him.

But wasn’t it fun to see the surprised look on Feinstein’s face and hear her attempt to provide what she thought was a gold-star answer only to have it crammed back down her throat?   It made this Strawman smile and wonder; when is Cruz going to knock the hell out of Dick Durbin?
