yesqcy - Council adopts budget by 8-6 vote - Quincy, IL News - QuincyJournal.com
Quincy is not broke, the state is a mess, the city is not. There is no revenue shortfall, only cuts in service. Alderman Brink said it perfectly, there was nothing to fix, there is no shortfall. The council blundered this one worse than most, and that's saying a lot.

Dion to take position with Jacksonville

Illini West Athletic Director Joey Dion announced Thursday he’s leaving the school to take a job in Jacksonville.

In a release, Dion said that he’ll be a principal in the Jacksonville School District. He’s currently an Assistant Principal, as well as the Athletic Director and Director of Transportation at Illini West.

Dion said “I was not actively looking for a new position but rather this opportunity came to me. It has been an extremely difficult decision to leave Illini West and I will certainly miss being here and being involved with you.”

No time-frame was given as to when Dion would step down as AD at Illini West.
