my reply was specifically about convoy saying the mayor shouldn't vote, lest it expose him in the next election. Is there something wrong with him voting for an agenda he is favoring, or pushing? I don't know about all the other "regular order" type stuff, or what powers the mayor has exactly, on pre-planning some agenda he may have. I'd think the mayor does more than make suggestions…

Thankfully that video has a transcript, so I didn't have to watch five minutes of Michelle straining to portray how much she cares. Obama supported the Muslim Brotherhood president in Egypt, they have closer ties to al Qaeda than us, but Obama supported Morsi.…

A contractor struck the gas line behind a home

Marion County 911 sent emergency responders to 308 North 6th street in Hannibal at around three o'clock Thursday afternoon after a contractor struck a gas line in the alley behind the home.

Firefighters were joined at the scene by a crew from Liberty Utilities who were able to cap the leak within 20 minutes of the call.

Assistant Fire Chief Sean Hamilton said his department's job was to set up a perimeter and notify neighbors to eliminate any open flame sources that might have caused a problem.

Firefighters left the scene by 3:40 Thursday.
