A few of the parents of kids on this team are the ones who may be lacking maturity . Most people with ties to QND know who those specific parents are, and I hope the ones who know them really let their feelings show. Crazies, just like at QHS can sometimes run the show.

yes, last years team was a great example of a team going to state and the talent was there, no one predicted they would go that far. No one.

She's hardly the voice of the right wing...She can be fun to listen too sometimes...much like the left enjoys the rantings of Nancy Pelosi, Gore, and their ilk. Nobody is going to pick Palin for any position. The media have succeeded in demonizing her and she's not done herself a lot of good either.

thanks for the added details still seems to me he should take credit or blame, and any efforts to build plausible deniability is political, somewhat dishonest, and wasteful. But "that's politics". People finally voted for change, a Republican even. That might rock the establishment boat a little, and Moore is pretty young, but time will tell if the voters were on the right track. Hopefully…

I'd like to see what Bonness can do. Sounds like he has plenty of experience and he is QND alumni.

Deer jumps from overpass and lands on minivan in Northern Illinois

From from dailyherald.com:

Heidi Conner came out of a daze to hear her 8-year-old daughter screaming in the back seat of their minivan.

Next to the West Dundee mom -- inside the car -- lay the body of a mangled deer. How the 200- to 300-pound doe got there baffled police and emergency room doctors.

They assumed Conner hit the animal Sunday afternoon while driving about 70 mph west on the Jane Addams Tollway near Hoffman Estates.

"I'm like, 'No, a deer hit me,'" she said. "Nobody can believe this deer fell from the sky."

Conner, 37, and four of her five kids were just two exits shy of leaving the tollway when witnesses say the deer jumped off the Route 72 overpass and landed on her 2004 Chevy minivan about noon Sunday, Illinois State Police Master Sgt. Paul Carlos said.

The creature crashed through the windshield, clipping Conner's forehead and shoulder and coming to rest right down the middle of the van. The head settled by the glove compartment between Conner and her 13-year-old son, who was sitting in the front passenger seat.
