eaglebeaky - Susan Rice Flashback: Bergdahl Served ‘With Honor and Distinction’ - Quincy, IL News - Q
With all respect, pjohnf, I've gotta disagree. Whether we like it or not, Bergdahl was an American serviceman. That one fact is the reason that I believe we HAD to get him back regardless, whether he was a traitor or a patriot. Scenario 1: if any American serviceman gets captured by enemy combatants, we owe it to them to do whatever we can to get them back, wouldn't you agree? Scenario…

There is a big difference between inadequate and illegal. To date, no agency has obviously indicated that the jail cannot be used but that doesn't make the jail adequate for todays world. A Model T Ford could still be used for a patrol car as well. It isn't illegal to drive one but it is entirely inadequate.

Susan Rice is the "closer in the bullpen" for the Obama admin - when they needed someone to come in tell a whopper that even Hillary wouldn't touch she was the one they called on.

Malicious mischief? I'm waiting to someone to be arrested for shenanigans. Shouldn't people have to call in and describe a missing bicycle, and then QPD would see if they have one on their list that matches? It seems like posting descriptions of found items makes it easy for a ne'er-do-well to claim something that isn't theirs.

Ill. House panel OKs cannabis for epileptic kids

Legislation would likely prevent use by smoking

From Associated Press:

A measure that would allow children with epilepsy to use medical marijuana is advancing in the Illinois Legislature.

A House committee approved the proposal Wednesday on a 15-0 vote. The legislation would add epilepsy to the list of treatable diseases in the state's medical cannabis pilot program. It would also allow children with epilepsy to use medical cannabis.

Parents of children with epilepsy contend the oil from cannabis plants reduces the frequency of seizures and doesn't get users high. Opponents say they're against any further legalization of marijuana.

State Rep. Lou Lang is sponsoring the legislation. The Skokie Democrat says he plans to alter the legislation so that it prohibits children from smoking medical cannabis.

The Senate approved the measure last month.
