Because even if it's "wet enough" such fires are still extremely hazardous to surrounding property. Embers can float a LONG way and there's plenty of dry wood...like all the other piles laying around, eh?).

Salon calls conservatives right-wing nuts and they think they're the sane ones. Talk about delusional, the left wing radicals support the killing of babies, they think the Iran nuke deal is good for America, they believe Obamacare is working, they think Obama is doing a good job with 10.8% real unemployment, the lowest labor participation rate in 38 years, the worst racial division in 50 years…

Legislation would likely prevent use by smoking

From Associated Press:

A measure that would allow children with epilepsy to use medical marijuana is advancing in the Illinois Legislature.

A House committee approved the proposal Wednesday on a 15-0 vote. The legislation would add epilepsy to the list of treatable diseases in the state's medical cannabis pilot program. It would also allow children with epilepsy to use medical cannabis.

Parents of children with epilepsy contend the oil from cannabis plants reduces the frequency of seizures and doesn't get users high. Opponents say they're against any further legalization of marijuana.

State Rep. Lou Lang is sponsoring the legislation. The Skokie Democrat says he plans to alter the legislation so that it prohibits children from smoking medical cannabis.

The Senate approved the measure last month.
