CoolEdge, Maybe that is what the aldermen are asking for. Transparency ! There is nothing in the City Code that excludes the aldermen from seeing proposals or names of involved companies. Heck look at the article from QSD, they have released the names of the companies that they are looking at to oversee their project. They just cannot release how much the bids are. I agree that he should not be treated any differently, but that is the reason given for the trial delay. And you're exactly right about bond being based on the crime, which means that contrary to pimpdaddystyle's opinion, a murder charge does not justify a reduced or recognizance bond. His attorneys say in the aforementioned article that they have not even bothered to ask for a reduction…

The verdict is in.  Glenn Head has been found not guilty in the death of Bill Bacon.

Closing arguments were were heard Friday morning in the murder trial of Glenn Head.  Head claims he shot Bill Bacon in self defense during a confrontation over a long-simmering land dispute on December 11, 2012

In his closing, Defense Attorney Charley James said he was “disappointed” in DDCC Trooper Amanda Sapp and Conservation Agent Benny Pryor, and blamed Sapp for the investigation.  James argued that Head acted in self-defense when confronted by Bacon.
