What the heck are you talking about, XBC? (To be honest with you, I didn't even realize that your previous comment was directed towards me.) What group is it that you seem to think I am "trying to lump Rauner into"? That's news to me... especially since I'm actually supporting Mr. Rauner this time -- if only because (in my opinion) he is (marginally) the lesser of two evils. (And,…

Oh, I see. Point well taken, AYHSMB. Thank you for the clarification. (I guess I'm just hoping that nobody starts throwing that kind of negative stuff around in relation to the Ebola issue. That's probably just wishful thinking on my part... but I'd like to hope that some sense of civility and humanity will win out -- at least while the doctors and nurses lives are at risk.) It's…

April Davis faces three counts of endangering the welfare of a child and three counts of abuse or neglect of a child

From From komu.com:

A Mexico mother was behind bars Tuesday after Mexico Police found her three children, ages two, three, and eight, living in an "unsanitary home" off of West Breckenridge. The state's children's division received a report in November 2013 about the conditions of the home and contacted the Mexico Public Safety Department.

According to the department, it did an additional investigation and sent the information to the Audrain County Prosecutor's Office. The prosecutor filed a warrant for 27-year-old April R. Davis, which was later served by the Audrain County Sheriff's Department on Jan. 8.

Davis faces three counts of endangering the welfare of a child in the first degree and three counts of abuse or neglect of a child. All of the charges are felonies. As of Tuesday morning, she remained at the Audrain County Jail with a $10,000 bond.
