Money from Community Caps benefits local causes

Representatives from Refreshment Services Pepsi‐Quincy, along with Illinois and Missouri Ayerco stores, will be donating proceeds from the Community Caps collection drive to the Great River Honor Flight.

Local Ayerco convenience stores raised $5,606.40 to benefit the Great River Honor Flight through their Community Caps drive, as well as selling their in‐store Honor Flight paper plane sponsorships.

In continuation of their tradition of supporting the Great River Honor Flight, local Ayerco stores have again chosen the Great River Honor Flight to be the beneficiary of their 2013 Community Caps campaign. This marks the third year in a row they have partnered with the Great River Honor Flight. Beginning in late February, five cents of every yellow cap from a Pepsi product that is dropped off at collection bins in stores.
