Quincy YMCA hosts preschool open house

Attendees will get to meet teachers and take a tour of the facility

The Quincy Family YMCA will be hosting a Preschool open house on Monday, February 18th from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. Attendees will be given the opportunity to meet the teachers and take a tour of the facility prior to registering their child for Y Preschool. 

Y Preschool introduces new and exciting concepts, ideas, environments and skills to children between the ages of 3 and 5. By engaging in activities that support development, children learn the character values of: caring, honesty, respect and responsibility. 

The YMCA Preschool curriculum includes: Arts-n-Crafts, Literary Skills, Physical Activity (including swim lessons), Science/Health, Sensory Play, Writing, Story Time, Music, Manners/Personal Care, Dramatic Play, Socialization, and Fine/Gross Motor Skill Development.
