Quincy police and firefighters joined the Adams County Sheriff's department and ambulance district for a remembrance

Quincy police and Firefighters joined the Adams County Sheriff's department and Ambulance district for a remembrance in the city hall plaza just after noon Tuesday.

The ceremony was led by the fire department chaplain Brother Ed Arambasich who told those in attendance that the only way to have peace is to have peace within our own souls.

Brother Ed recognizes the difficulty in finding peace while remembering the violence of 9-11.

Brother Ed says tragedy is part of life, but if we also have God in our life, peace in our life, we can cope with it.
