30 years of cooling (to 1980 or so) then 30 years warming They use the data on the warming half of one cycle, and call it "long term". They need 50 cycles, not one half of one cycle ... dishonest arses. They know damn well they start at the end of a long cooling period, yet don't account for it, and usual only a straight line linear regression for their argument, which hides the last 18 years…

For one, he's not explaining to the reader that there's a difference between polar ice cap extent and polar ice cap volume. People monitoring global warming are less concerned with polar ice extent than they are with the total amount of ice. Take a peek at the declining volume in the Arctic: "April 2015 volume was 26% below the maximum April ice volume in 1979 and 13% below the 1979-2014…

The Quincy Regional Sleep Disorders Support Group will meet on Tuesday, February 19, from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.

The Quincy Regional Sleep Disorders Support Group will meet on Tuesday, February 19, from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. in the Blessing Sleep Lab on the lower level of the Bank of Quincy, located at 12th & Broadway. The topic this month will be “CPAP/BIPAP: The Basics” and “Traveling with your CPAP/BIPAP”.  Ruth Sweezer, certified respiratory therapist, Denman Medical Equipment, will be the presenter.

This support group meeting will be helpful to anyone currently using sleep apnea therapy, those just beginning therapy or those with questions about sleep apnea.

The Support Group is sponsored by The Blessing Sleep Center in association with the American Sleep Apnea Association, and the AWAKE (Alert, Well And Keeping Energetic) network.

The support group is open to anyone who is dealing with any form of sleep disorder or sleep apnea, and individuals who have or currently are using CPAP treatment.  Family members and friends are also encouraged to attend.
