The Quincy School District will host a series of "kindergarten roundups" at local grade schools for families with children who will be 5 years old on or before September 1

The Quincy School District will host a series of "kindergarten roundups" at local grade schools for families with children who will be 5 years old on or before September 1. Parents should attend the roundup with their child at the primary school in the district in which they live. If you do not know the school district boundary, please call the Transportation Department, 224-5910.

The roundups give parents and children a chance to visit the school the youngster will attend next fall. They will meet staff members and receive information about school policies and requirements for physicals and immunizations.

Roundups will be held at the following times and locations:           

            ̊     Adams School (222-2530)--Friday, April 5, 2013, 9:00 a.m.

            ̊     Berrian School (228-7691)--Friday, April 5, 2013, 9:30 a.m.

            ̊     Dewey School (228-7117)--Friday, April 5, 2013, 9:15 a.m.                               

            ̊     Ellington School (222-5697)--Friday, April 5, 2013, 9:15 - 11:00 a.m.

            ̊     Madison School (223-6096)--Friday, April 5, 2013, 9:30-10:45 a.m. (Meet in cafeteria).

            ̊     Monroe School (223-8871)–Friday, April 5, 2013, 9:15 a.m.

            ̊     Washington School (222-4059)--Friday, April 5, 2013, 9:00 a.m. (Breakfast served at 8:30 a.m.)

If parents of 5-year-old children have not made contact with a school, they should do so as soon as possible.
