Quincy power outage affects around 3,500 Ameren Illinois customers

Customers should expect power restoration around 10:00 p.m.

A Sunday night power outage has left around 3,500 Quincy residents without power.

According to an Ameren Illinois spokesman, a few trees fell on one of Ameren's primary lines behind a house on Evangeline Drive. 

Crews are currently working on the problem and will switch customers to another substation shortly. 

The spokesman also said customers should expect to have power restored around 10:00 p.m.
