when this started back in October of last year the city government claimed there was no money to support new equipment But now the money is there can anybody help with this (confused)

Really? Which alderman are you? The aldermen have screwed this over big time. The mayor has brought hew innovative ideas to the council for them to review and they are so worried about their health insurance they can't do anything. I'm waiting for one of the aldermen to bring forth a fix for the garbage situation...... crickets.......

Quincy Police release February traffic enforcement numbers

There were 111 accidents last month

The Quincy Police Department has released its traffic enforcement numbers for February.

There were a total of 111 accidents in February. That's 29 more than in February of 2012.

Of those, 10 were injury accidents with 14 total injuries.

Most of the accidents occurred on a Saturday.

35of the accidents occured in wet, snowy, or icy conditions.

66 people were arrested for speeding and five were arrested for DUI.

Intersections with the most accidents in February included 24th and Broadway with four accidents and 48th and Broadway with three accidents.
