Quincy neurologist to speak at Lunch and Learn

Dr. Walid Hafez from Blessing Hospital will speak at First Fridays Lunch and Learn session

The Alzheimer’s Association Quincy Branch will host Dr. Walid Hafez from Blessing Hospital during its First Fridays Lunch and Learn session on Friday, Oct. 5 at the Quincy Senior and Family Resource Center, 639 York St.  

Dr. Hafez, a neurologist, will discuss brain health and related topics, with time for attendees to ask questions. The group meets from 11:45 a.m. - 1 p.m. Lunch is provided, and the program is free and open to the public.  

Please register by Thursday, Oct. 4 by calling the Quincy office at 800.272.3900. In the event of low registration numbers, the program may be canceled. 

First Fridays is a lunchtime educational program that meets the first Friday of every month. Each session will feature a guest speaker in the healthcare and/or senior and community service field who will present information related to Alzheimer’s disease and memory loss problems.
