he had 8 yrs to save up. he's got no money. if I killed my wife, the mother of my children, instead of divorcing her, I'd be so upset with myself as time went on that I wouldn't be able to hold down a job/ make any money. Quincy Police made an early morning meth arrest on Saturday.

Just after 9 a.m. Saturday, Quincy Police went to 1405 North 6th in an attempt to locate James M. Altgilbers, 29 of 531 Locust, on an Adams County warrant. Upon arriving, officers found Altgilbers and also observed evidence that led officers to believe he had an active meth lab inside the apartment where he was located.

Altgilbers was arrested on the warrant and officers obtained a search warrant for the apartment where Altgilbers was found. During the search warrant, officers located and seized evidence that tested positive for methamphetamine. Officers also located meth making materials and meth waste.

Altgilbers was arrested for Unlawful Participation in Methamphetamine Production and other meth related charges and he was lodged in the Adams County Jail.

Assisting the Quincy Police Department with the investigation was the West Central Illinois Task Force and the Illinois State Police Meth Response Team.
