Quincy man arrested on meth charges after vehicle stop

On 10-24-12 the Quincy Police Department conducted a traffic stop for expired registration at 28th and Broadway. 

During the course of the stop it was learned the driver, 49 year old William P. Minor, had no valid driver's license and the vehicle registration had been altered. The Adams County Sheriff's Office responded and the K-9 alerted on the vehicle.

The subsequent search yielded drug paraphernalia and less than 5 grams of methamphetamine. An outstanding Adams County no bond warrant was also served on Minor for failure to appear driving while license suspended.

Minor was lodged in the Adams County Jail. Minor, of 1300 State, was arrested on charges of: Possession of Methamphetamine, Expired Registration, Unlawful Possession of Altered vehicle registration, No Valid Driver's License.
