Quincy man arrested on child porn charges

Arrest concludes a six month investigation

A Quincy man has been arrested on child porn charges.

40 year old Eric W. Ahearn of 504 1/4 South 8th Street was arrested Thursday at 3 p.m.

In April, the Quincy police department began an ongoing investigation resulting in the arrest of Ahearn for production and possession of child pornography of a local minor. The Quincy minor was under 13.

Ahearn is lodged in the Adams County Jail and has a court date of November 1.
