Quincy man arrested after day-long search

A Quincy man was arrested Friday morning on a failure to appear on burglary charges.

An Adams County FTA Burglary warrant was issued on August 14 for Christopher Bartz. 

On Thursday, Adams County Officers, assisted by QPD officers, searched several buildings and conducted multiple interviews in Quincy’s north side to develop information regarding Bartz’s location. 

Today just before 8 a.m., Adams County Sheriff’s Officers searched a property in the area of 2^nd and Locust. 

Bartz was found and was arrested without incident.
