A counterfeit $20 bill was passed at the Dairy Queen located at 1201 Harrison on 08-27-11. The phony bill was discovered when the money was deposited at the bank. Investigation to continue. 

Bridgitte K. Skirvin of 2833 College Ave. reported that her 2006 Toyota Corolla was damaged while parked in front of her residence. The damage consisted of a slashed front tire, and a caustic substance had also been poured onto different areas of the vehicle causing further damage to the vehicle. Skirvin stated that the damage occurred sometime between 2230 hours on 08-28-11 and 1330 hours on 08-29-11. Investigation to continue.

Shanekia D. Scott of 605 Oak reported that an unknown subject placed a small piece of metal into the lock on her front door sometime between 08-21-11 and 08-25-11. Scott thinks that someone has been trying to enter her residence. 

Minh Phan of 1117 Chestnut reported that his 2004 Chevy Venture van was damaged while parked at the rear of his residence sometime between 2130 hours on 08-29-11 and 0400 hours on 08-30-11. The rear driver's side window was shattered. Phan had no suspects in the damage. 

Brenda L. Meyers of 1500 Washington stated that her 2008 Kia Sportage was damaged while parked in front of her residence. Meyers stated that the damage consisted of dents on her driver's side door. Meyers stated that the damage occurred sometime between 2300 hours on 08-28-11 and 0830 hours on 08-29-11. Meyers had no suspects.

A silver Huffy brand Hawthorne bicycle was recovered from the area of 9th & Madison on 08-30-11 @ 1221 hours. Placed into the bicycle impound at QPD.  

Joe E. Henning of 628 College reported the theft of approximately 25 pieces of firewood from his residence. Henning stated that the theft occurred between 08-28-11 and 08-29-11.

Byron R. McAllister of 1707 N. 12th (Illinois Veteran's Home - Fletcher Under Bldg) reported the theft of money from his room. McAllister stated that the theft occurred sometime between 08-23-11 and 08-25-11. McAllister had no suspects in the theft.
