QPD investigates shooting on Quincy's north side

Just after midnight Wednesday, Quincy Police officers were dispatched to Blessing ER in reference to a subject suffering from a gunshot wound to his leg. 

The victim stated he had been in an altercation with a subject in the 500 block of North 7th when the subject shot him in the leg. 

The suspect is described as a white male in his late 20s or early 30s with a bald head and a gotee.  The suspect was to be wearing all black and fled the area on foot.
