QPD Blotter for 9/28/12

Arrest / Traffic-  Charles L. Watson (33) of 2216 Tristan Court was arrested for speeding at Columbus Road and Pine Ridge on 9/26/12. 

Arrest / Warrant- Savannah Kay Arnold (23) of 820 1/2 Cherry was arrested at Quincy Police Headquarters on 9/26/12 for an outstanding Adam's County Warrant for FTA - DWLS.  She was lodged in the Adam's County Jail.  

Arrest / Warrant   Yvonne R. Eberle (40) of 1340 No. 5th was arrested at 5th and York on 9/27/12 for an outstanding AC warrant for FTA - Unlawful Use of Black Jack / Knife.  She posted bond at the Adam's County Jail. 

Hit and Run- James Rinne of 2908 Harrison reports that his 1997 Ford was struck by possibly a Nissan vehicle while his truck was parked in front of his residence on 9/23/12.  The suspect did not stop after striking the vehilce.  

Hit and Run- Charles Miller of 414 No. 28th reports his 1995 Ford was struck by a black 4 door vehicle while it was parked in front of his residence on 9/17/12.  The suspect vehicle then fled the scene.

Retail Theft- Peggy L. Kirkeeng of TJ Maxx reports that 3 black females stole between 15 and 20 purses from the store on 9/19/12.  The females reportedly grabbed the purses and ran out of the store together.  They got into a waiting vehicle that fled east on Broadway.  

Theft Over- Kathi L. Johnson of 2201 BrookMeade Rd. reports the theft of a laptop computer from her residence on 9/18/12. 

Theft under- Amber D. Austin, reported someone stole a Trouble brand, pink bicycle from her yard at 2100 hrs of 09/26/12.

Arrest- Donald J. DeBoer, 41, of 707 Kentucky for FTA - Fighting at 5th & State on 09-27-12 @ 1449 hours. Lodged in the ACJ.

Arrest- Starlene M. Welch, 62, of 135 Locust for Failure to Yield - Stop Sign and Operation of an Uninsured Motor Vehicle at 4th & Locust on 09-26-12 @ 1136 hours. Released on NTA.

Arrest- Valerie F. Thompson, 25, of 1425 N. 4th for Speeding in a School Zone with Children Present at 30th & Chestnut on 09-26-12 @ 0748 hours. Released on NTA.

Arrest- Jerry Whitley, Jr., 25, of East St. Louis, IL for Felony Retail Theft (Prior Conviction) at Kohls (6100 Broadway) on 09-27-12 @ 1320 hours. Lodged in the ACJ.

Arrest- Kyle E. Stead, 40, 621 Ohio, Improper Use of Registration, Driving While License Revoked, Operation of Uninsured Vehicle  RL Cash Bond

Arrest- Christina S. Hyer, 46, 601 N. 5th, Expired Registration, Improper Use of Registration RL RTA

Arrest- Michael L. Pontius, 56,  825 Jersey, Stealing RL NTA 

Arrest- Andrew L. Huckey, 25, 1824 Cherry, Speeding in a School Zone RL NTA 

Residential Burglary- Mark E. Rees, 53, 920 1/2 State, reported his basement was entered between 0830 and 1230 hrs on 09/22/12.  Stolen was a Cannondale Street Bike and a Dewalt Sawzall Kit. 

Retail Theft- Analee NMI Heilwagen, 47, an employee at JCPenney's at the Quincy Mall, reported 3 black females stole clothing items from the business on 09/23/12 at 1648 hours. A vehicle desciption was provided. Follow up to continue
