You seem to be conflating Private Unions, with Public Unions. I'm quite aware of the difference ... I'm not conflating. Public unions are "worse", imo, because they influence elections. They mostly stand together in "solidarity" under the AFL-CIO banner. You say public unions should not strike, but of course they DO. Blue Flu ... it may be going on right now, to some extent ...…

What would be the harm with going forward and converting pensions to 401k's for any public sector employee who has 10 years or under, and any new hires? Phasing out pensions. This would give the employee more control of their retirement and not unaccountable politicians. This could also be rolled into a way to phase out SS for anyone who chooses.

Heather W. Fuqua, 301 S. 43rd for Failure to reduce Speed / Accident at 30th & State on 9/16/12 at 1702 hrs. Fuqua was released on NTA.

Sarah M. Ostermiller, 813 Country Club Dr. for Failure to Yeild / Stop Sign at 12th & Jackson on 9/19/12 at 1416 hrs. Ostermiller was released on NTA.

On 9/06/12, First Bankers Trust reports receiving counterfeit $10 and $20 dollar bills in deposits from the Finish Line, and one from an unknown source. The $10 bills had the same serial numbers.

Leanne Williams, of Williams Shooters Supply reports a Radomka brand .22 cal rifle is missing from the warehouse of the business. The rifle was came up missing between 8/24/12 and 9/04/12.

Jonathon R. Hofmann, 19, 1818 E. 1850th Ave., Coatsburg, IL., for Operating an Uninsured Vehicle at 52nd Broadway at 2129 hrs of 08/28/12.  Released on NTA. 

Sarah E. Self, 1004 Locust, reported someone entered her 10 Kia Vehicle between 0000/0600 hrs of 09/16/12 while it was parked in front of her residence.  Taken was a DVD player, a black wallet and a bracelet 

Gwedilyn N. Tournear, 525 Jackson, reported on 09/07/12,she sent $824 through Western Union for a puppy and never received the puppy

Angel M. Strieker, 215 Cherry, reported someone stole her white and tan female cat 'Snowball' from her yard between 1000/1200 hrs of 09/16/12. 

Michael J. Weed, 47, 1325 N. 6th, reported a political sign which says 'Vote for Weed', was stolen from his yard at 1935 hrs of 08/29/12.
