AND for every hour paid at the higher rate is 5 cents more in tax revenues. Doesn't sound like much but wouldn't you like to have a nickel for every additional 5 cents they get.

Durbin, Quinn and Schakowsky are pushing the minimum wage increase as a payoff to their union buddies because as the minimum goes up the unions can use the increase to support increases for their members. And that way the unions will have more money to give to the democrats. The vicious money laundering cycle continues.

Good grief how many Judges does it take to run the courts in Cook county? Must be a lot of crime and corruption in Cook county. Oh that's right, Cook county is run by corrupt progressive democrats so they need a lot of judges to adjudicate all the crime and corruption.

It seems it would be difficult to pay "disorderly conduct" fines when making minimum wage. Or maybe there is a government program for this?? Comparing this movement to the civil rights movement is laughable. If they want to be taken seriously they need to drop this.

Angela G. Lee, 33, of 909 N. 9th for Domestic Battery at her residence on 02-23-13 @ 0911 hours. Lodged in the ACJ.

Scott A. Odonnell, 41, of 329 So. 9th was arrested for Domestic Battery and Possession of a Firearm without a FOID card at his residence on 2/23/13. He was lodged in the Adam's County Jail.

Caroline C. Stites, 22, of Liberty was arrested for disorderly conduct at 1201 No. 14th on 2/23/13. She was lodged in the Adam's County Jail.

Damon R. Hill, 44, of 734 No. 4th St. Apt. 2 was arrested for domestic battery at his residence on 2/23/13.  He was lodged in the Adam's County Jail. 

Ashton C. Dunlap, 20, of 2046 Oak was arrested for aggravated battery at the Phoenix, 625 Maine, on 2/24/13. Dunlap was lodged in the Adam's County Jail. 

Seth R. Mullins, 23, of 1208 No. 22nd was arrested for Aggravated Fleeing to Elude Police, as well as warrants for FTA - domestic battery, unlwful meth conspiracy and failure to reduce speed. Mullins was lodged in the Adam's County Jail.

A green 1995 Dodge Intrepid registered to Brenda orthway of Carthage was towed by Courtesy from 10th and Broadway after Northway was arrested for DWLS and Operating Uninsured Vehicle.

Brittany E. Roach, 24, of Canton, MO for Improper Driving at 4th & Broadway on 02-21-13 @ 1159 hours. Released on PTC. 

Joseph J. Califf, 28, of 2015 1/2 Vermont for DWLR, Operation of an Uninsured Motor Vehicle, and Expired Registration Sticker at 18th & Broadway on 02-24-13 @ 1051 hours. Released on NTA.

Christopher L. Warning, 43, of 706 Adams for DWLR and Operation of an Uninsured Motor Vehicle at 17th & State on 02-23-13 @ 1009 hours. Released on NTA. 

Angie M. Brown, 29, of 1303 Horne St. for Driving Too Fast for Conditions at 12th & Spring on 02-22-13 @ 0748 hours. Released on NTA. 

Misty D. Shaw, 22, of 630 1/2 Maine for Failure to Wear Seatbelt at 6th & Vermont on 02-23-13 @ 1431 hours. Released on NTA. 

Aaron R. Seiz, 23, of 1537 Tipton Ave. for Operation of an Uninsured Motor Vehicle at 11th & Jersey on 02-22-13 @ 1413 hours. Released on DL.
