Aldermen are not voting on this until September 8. And next week's meeting is on Tuesday because of Labor Day. BG

If you want get an idea of what you might pay with my proposal get our your winter water bill and look at the usage in CCF. Multiply that number by $0.16 and that's the ballpark for what you would pay. Many ways to compute this...but this will probably work out for you to be about the same as your paying now with stickers. Average usage for accounts in Quincy is about 16.5 CCF or $9.99 per quarter.

If we want to do something about this how about change.org? Question is...who do we bombard? The Mayor? Or set up a petition for each pair of aldermen? Or put them all on the notification list? Of course we're probably too late too as this will be on Monday's agenda to spend the money. Three days probably isn't enough time.

There's at least one alderman who's going back out and actively asking people in their ward for their opinion on the issue not. It's NOT something that was previously done, so apparently at least one of the 14 has sat up and noticed "Hey, maybe we didn't get it right last time?"

Nancy Grace likes to say a lot of stuff. Occasionally, she even accidentally stumbles onto something that's true. This isn't one of those times, in my opinion.
